Turn off touchpad when mouse is plugged in

Click “Disable” under the “Touchpad” sub-menu. Click on the “Mouse” icon, and click the “Touchpad” tab at the top. Press Windows + X and select Control panel. If your laptop has a touchpad utility software, you may check if it has an option to disable the touchpad. Why can’t I disable the touchpad on my laptop? On the Device Settings tab of the Mouse Properties screen, click the Disable button to turn off the Touchpad.Press Windows + X keys from the keyboard and click on Control Panel.
